En 1830, il fonde l\u2019<em>\u00c9tablissement g\u00e9ographique de Bruxelles<\/em> et, apr\u00e8s l\u2019ind\u00e9pendance de la Belgique, se consacre directement aux cartes du Royaume. \u00c0 partir de 1831, il publie les premi\u00e8res feuilles d\u2019une carte de Belgique bas\u00e9e sur la <a href=\"https:\/\/shop.ngi.be\/fr\/cartes-historiques\/carte-de-ferraris-des-pays-bas-autrichiens-1771-1778\/\"><em>Carte marchande <\/em>de Ferraris<\/a>\u00a0: <em>La carte de la Belgique d\u2019apr\u00e8s Ferraris<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Vandermaelen noue d\u2019excellentes relations avec le tout jeune gouvernement belge, qui le charge de cartographier les fronti\u00e8res, les routes, les cours d\u2019eau, les voies de chemin de fer et les lignes t\u00e9l\u00e9graphiques. Pour ce faire, il obtient l\u2019autorisation de collecter et d\u2019utiliser des informations cadastrales. Il publie deux cartes topographiques, l\u2019une au 1:20\u00a0000<sup>e<\/sup> en 250\u00a0feuilles (1846-1854) et l\u2019autre au 1:80\u00a0000<sup>e<\/sup> en 25\u00a0feuilles (1853). En 1880, onze\u00a0ans apr\u00e8s sa mort, l\u2019<em>\u00c9tablissement g\u00e9ographique de Bruxelles<\/em> ferme ses portes. La majeure partie de la collection est r\u00e9cup\u00e9r\u00e9e par la Biblioth\u00e8que royale o\u00f9 elle est toujours conserv\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<h4>Offre<\/h4>\n<p>Nous poss\u00e9dons les trois s\u00e9ries de cartes de Belgique de Vandermaelen\u00a0:<\/p>\n<p>1. La carte topographique de la Belgique bas\u00e9e sur la carte de Ferraris, \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle 1:86 400 (environ 70 x 55 cm ; peut varier)<br \/>\n2. La carte topographique de la Belgique \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle 1:20 000 (environ 79 x 58 cm ; peut varier)<br \/>\n3. La carte topographique de la Belgique \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle 1:80 000 (environ 82 x 60 cm ; peut varier)<\/p>\n<h4>Prix<\/h4>\n<p>Cette carte co\u00fbte 23 \u20ac en version imprim\u00e9e et 45 \u20ac en version num\u00e9rique.<\/p>\n<p>La plastification est r\u00e9alisable sur demande avec un co\u00fbt suppl\u00e9mentaire de 7\u00a0\u20ac (brillant\/brillant), 13\u00a0\u20ac (brillant\/mat) ou 18\u00a0\u20ac (mat\/mat).<\/p>\n<p>Vous pouvez venir chercher la carte dans notre boutique \u00e0 Bruxelles ou la faire exp\u00e9dier par bpost.
